David Toussaint, CFA, CPA
Portfolio Manager
David has more than 19 years of experience in the financial industry. He currently manages Security Global Investors’ (SGI’s) successful line-up of high yield fixed income strategies. In this role, David is responsible for developing, researching and executing his team’s macroeconomic and industry analysis to uncover hidden opportunities in the credit market. David joined SGI in January, 2000 as a senior investment analyst and was promoted to portfolio manager later that same year. Prior to joining the Security Global Investors team, David was a fixed income credit research analyst and an investment accounting manager for Allstate Insurance. David earned a bachelor’s of arts in economics from the University of Illinois, a masters of science in accounting from DePaul University and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago. David is a certified public accountant and earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the Kansas City CFA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Christi Fletcher
Portfolio Manager
Christi has more than 14 years of experience in trading fixed income securities. She currently manages Security Global Investors’ money market portfolio and serves as a credit analyst for the firm’s high yield strategies. Prior to joining SGI in 2004, Christi was credit analyst and portfolio manager for Horizon Cash Management where she focused on short to intermediate fixed income strategies. She has also served as a senior money market trader for Scudder Kemper Investments and a securities specialist with the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio. Christi holds a bachelor’s of science degree in finance from Southwest Missouri State University. She is a candidate within the Chartered Financial Analyst^® program.

Daniel W. Portanova
Portfolio Manager
Daniel co-manages both the Mid and Large Cap Growth funds at Security Global Investors while serving as the lead analyst for the fixed income markets. In his tenured career, Dan has served as director, senior vice president and treasurer of Groupama Asset Management, portfolio manager for General Reinsurance and managing director at General Reinsurance Asset Management, where he was responsible for more than $4 billion in assets. Dan has also worked at Smith Barney, Harris Upham Inc., as an institutional corporate bond trader, primarily in the Yankee and Canadian sectors. Dan earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College.
